Penny Juice
Penny Juice is a family-owned business that sells natural fruit juice concentrates for kids. The challenge was to redesign their website to make it easy for users to order products. My approach began with solidifying the brand identity to appeal to their primary audience—children. Creating a light-hearted identity would enhance the brand’s recognizability, and this refreshed voice and style could then be applied to the redesigned website.

Colorful Juicing
Penny Juice wanted to be recognized as wholesome, natural, and affordable. To achieve this, it was crucial to maintain a consistent brand message. My first step in connecting Penny Juice with its consumers was to create a recognizable identity. As a kid-friendly company, Penny Juice needed to attract its target audience with a vibrant approach. I chose a light-hearted color palette based on its popular fruit flavors and used a warm typeface combination to enhance the brand’s playful nature.
A Flavorful Cast
Penny’s renewed flavors are packed with personality. I crafted these spunky characters using simple line illustrations and some brain power. From Kickin’ Kiwi to Mellow mango, there’s a flavor for every kid! With a lively cast on set, I proceeded to create some amazing swag.
Going Digital
With vivacious brand elements in hand, I was ready to redesign the Penny Juice website. I began by creating wireframes and proceeded to code the site focusing on an intuitive user experience. On the refreshed website, users are welcomed with a teaser video showing the process of creating Penny’s all-natural juice concentrates. A warm tone of voice, refined layout, and clear CTAs have been implemented to allow users to intuitively find and order products.
